My musical journey
I started singing in my first band, SKY, when I was only 13 years old in Magog, Québec.
At 18, I left Magog for Montreal with a fairly simple plan: I was going to become a rock star.
Well... that was the plan.

Magog · The beginning
SKY → Quartz → The Rats
I began singing at 13 in Magog. SKY was followed by Quartz, and by 15 I was singing with The Rats.
Those early bands gave me the first taste of the life I wanted. By 18, I was ready to leave home and find out how far music could take me.

Montreal · The club years
Murder → Syhon
I arrived in Montreal knowing virtually no one. Murder became my first band in the city, followed by Syhon, where I began touring the major Quebec club circuit as a lead singer.
I deliberately chose the clubs as my school. Night after night, in front of real audiences, I learned how to entertain, communicate and become a performer.

1994 onward · Becoming professional
Television & Productions
Joining the singer ensemble on Beau et chaud in 1994 changed the direction of my career. I was suddenly learning new styles of music, working in front of cameras and performing in live and recorded television.
A management agreement followed, opening the door to backing vocals, television appearances and productions including Du Rock à l'Opéra, Cinémashow and Danse Sing.

Paris · 2002
Cindy
In 2002, I went to Paris to perform in Luc Plamondon's musical Cindy.
That experience changed me. Working with Luc helped me understand that singing was not simply about the notes. A singer could inhabit a lyric, interpret it and give it life. Acting became part of the process too.
I came away from Paris feeling that I had crossed an important threshold as an artist.

Silence
After years of performing, I eventually stopped singing altogether. Music had defined so much of my life that walking away from it created a very different chapter.
I did not know then whether I would ever return to a microphone.

The return
Back to the microphone
Around 2020, I formed the Judas Priest Experience as a tribute to one of the singers who had influenced me enormously when I was younger: Rob Halford.
From there came The Stormbringer and Band of Brothers. What began as a return to performing eventually led me back to something I had not expected — creating original music again.

Today
Bujold Labadie Blouin
Today I am part of Bujold Labadie Blouin, creating original melodic and neo-classical metal with Roland Bujold and Russel Labadie.
Our first album, Final War, was co-produced and mixed with Max Norman. A second album is in progress, and work on a third has already begun.
After everything music has taken me through — clubs, television, Paris, years away and a return — I am still discovering where this road can lead.
